have my PS3 hardwired through a Linksys WRT54G and ATT Dsl. Internet browsing and such work fine, but in Tiger Woods I get into the lobby and select match, but match never starts? Are there settings I need to change on the router? or is the DSL dragging it down?

From what I've seen so far, the game servers for the PS3 games aren't very good. I was playing the Darkness online with the PS3, it was horribly choppy, laggy etc. 5 minutes later, I got online with the Darkness on the 360 and it ran great, no lag whatsoever.
update: it is some setting on the router, plugged directly into the modem and voila! server wasn't too bad and gameplay is pretty sweet except it still has the putt cam? I can agree with having the grid, but ideal putt cam should be OFF. time to figure out what to change on the router.

Its prob best to upgrade the firmware on the router to like DDWRT or Hyperwrt (i use).

On back of the router, see what version it is. if its 5.0+, its junk :\
wrt54g's are very powerful routers if they are running Linux.
dd-wrt is a prime example. http://www.dd-wrt.com/
