Dish Network quesstion.

Are the actual dishes the same on the two satellite company the same? ...also are the two LNBs the same? If they are not then does anyone have a standard Dish Network dish and LNB?

Don't know about Direct TV's equipment, but my Dish Network dish is a Dish 1000 Triple LNB.

DN and DTV have different LNBs for sure on doubles and triples.

But... you can use a DTV single LNB dish and get DN programming.

I guess I have the triple LNB from dtv. Any chance I have the right one on my dish now?

If you have a triple from DirectTV, it will not work on Dishnetwork.
