Yall like the new ass on the mustang?

The new ass looks different somehow. What exactly did they change? The bumper? It looks like it sticks out farther now. I have to say I'm not a fan. I liked the old ass just the way it was. What's your opinion? Maybe someone can post a pick of the new ass, and the old ass so we can see?

all the changed was the bumper cover (possibly the reinforcement) and the taillights switch those pieces out and you have the old rear.
i dont think it sticks out more its just bigger, it takes up over half of the rear end

hate the back but love the front end look of it
i dont think it looks bad
Eh, It's almost like 2 bumpers in 1. I'm not much of a fan.
i LOVE the front but HATE the rear. its ugly. I hate 05 up mustangs anyway IMO
Ugly imo. Looks Japanese.

has anyone actually swapped this over? I would be interested to see that and how simple it is. I would run a different rear cover than the GT though if it's that simple, but i doubt it is.
I grant that it has a Nissan-level of polarity in its styling, but a change was due, and it could've been a lot worse. I didn't buy a gently used mustang last year because I've never been the biggest fan of these, and new-edges were starting to get long in the tooth (if you're trying to finance the car you want). I really like this mid-model update, though, and I'll buy a 2010 or newer when the Neon is payed off.
If you are building a retro car Keep it retro! The new rear end looks mismatched.
I hated the new rear ends when I saw the pics but after seeing a couple on the road I think I like them better than the model before them.

It looks better with black vinyl or the black out panel from Ford. We blacked out the back, the trunk panel and some other stuff and came up with this. :)

That looks Hott! :147:
Thanks, in my opinion by far it's the best looking 2010 I have seen! And I am not saying that just because we built it. :)

Here is a link to the other photos of the Mustang.

Exactly. Very mismatched. almost like some toyota or something like the other guys said.
I have a 2010 GT... At first seeing the Pics I thought the Front looked amazing and the Back looked Horrible!! But once I saw the car on the lot, It totally changed everything!! I love having this car and the back of the 2010 model really seperates itself from ever model before! Ill be driving around, and I can see cars in my rearview mirror switching lanes trying to catch up to me and get a better look. They all say the same thing... "I could tell it was 2010 just from seeing the Tail Lights!"
I know I'm in the minority, but I like it. The '05+ cars were really starting to look long in the tooth, especially with that blocky rear end. It's a nice update, IMO.
Well I wouldn't have been against a nice little change, but they made it to where now it looks like it comes to a point. The other one was nice and flat and this one sticks out. If I ever end up with a 2010, I will be converting to the 2009 rear.
