well i have a 95 gts with a 306 block forged pistons e303 cam bbk headers, msd billet distributer 93 cobra gt40 heads msd street fire coil explorer intake fuel pressure regulator , bbk 70mm throtle body cold air intake underdrive pulleys, bassani offroad xpipe flowaster mufflers and 3.90 gears. ive been going to the track lately and all im getting out of the car on street tires is consist 8.80's with a 2.6 60 foot! i know im spinning alot but it seams like its falling of on top end. so my question is should i swap out the computer for a cobra computer and 24lbs injectors? or what route would best suit my car?

well i think it might since the cobras had different programming than the gt's but i would just pay the extra money and get a tune. you'll probably see better gains.
I doubt it. The '94/5 computers are pretty much universally considered junk and very unresponsive to mods especially camshaft changes.

The best you are going to do is an early A9X swap, which is done pretty often in '94/5 cars.

I personally plan to spend $1K or so and go with an aftermarket programmer.

Think that's silly? Well price out a '94/5 Cobra computer and some private tuning time.... You won't save much at all, and you won't have the adjustability.
The cobra computer will not offer any benifits.

a SCT chip and a good tune would help. As would a better set of heads and Intake.

What the fuck is an A9X? Do you mean A9L?

If you get 24lbs injectors, pay the few hundred for an aftermarket MAF meter that's calibrated for the injectors. In all honesty though, you're probably not making enough power to justify an injector swap. Get your shit tuned, get some tires, and work on your launch. Your 2.6 60ft time is fucking horrible. With those gears, some sticky tires, and practice, you should be well below 2 second 60 footers.

A9L, A9P and I think there are even A9U coded computers. Any of them would work.
are these computers interchangable with my factory wiring harness? what will i need to change?
