Where to buy hard to find beers
Who here doesn't love beer! I'm on the hunt for the ultimate beer, so I'm told. Does anyone here know where i can locate or buy some Trappist Beer?

Technically, a Trappist beer is is one that has been brewed by Trappist Monks... and there are only 7 such breweries in the world.

Chimay is not horribly uncommon... you can usually get some at any beer/liquor store that has a solid beer selection.

yes, but where could i get some? i went to beer advocate.com got a hold of some yahoo and said he had a 6pack left and would sell it to me for $100. Good selection here. But the best I have found is at the Central Market at Coit and GWB in Plano. Best in all of Dallas IMO.
central market has a huge selection of hard to find beer, and you can mix and match 6 packs.
Goody Goody liquor has all kinds of beer I've never heard of as well.

Another good beer not too many people know about is La Fin du Monde. Don't think it's trappist though,

I got some Maredsous at GoodyGoody the other day and thought it was pretty tasty. Not brewed by real monks, but same style.
