I have the feeling my fuel pump is near going out. In the near future I plan on 24# injectors. What size or brand pump would you recommend?

BBK 190 works for me .
Walbro/Racetronix
that pump has plastic gears and they will last anywhere from 1000-2000 miles.

get a real walbro for $80-100 and have peace-of-mind about it. a real walbro will have metal gears when you look into the screen on the bottom.

DITTO!

Nearly all Chinese made components are pure junk! Don't EVEN get me started on valve train and internal engine components. This includes Chinese made cylinder heads! My opinion is to not associate yourself with anything less than premium stuff. You'll be faster, stronger, more reliable in the end. And less broke!
I don't even know why anyone would install less than a 255 lph pump when replacing the pump. There is no down side to installing it.

I read on a street car it can heat the fuel from over serculation and cause issues . We had one in a 95 gt and had some strange problems after you drove in traffic for a while . We swapped in a 190 and the problems went away . It is possible the old pump was going out but It was fairly new . If the car had a power adder than I could see needing the bigger pump .

Anybody else heard the same?
