wet kit install question

397 Views 10 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  chevyhater01
Recently purchased a wet kit and the way it's wanting to pull the the fuel is to Tee into the factory feed line. Personally I'd rather not use a brass Tee fitting with cheap hose clamps on a high pressure fuel line.:firedevil:

My question is does anyone know what fitting(part number) would be required for me to go from the test port on the fuel rail to supply the fuel for the kit?

Car is a 1994 GT btw.

TIA for any help.

Yeah I'm not sure if I want to even attempt it cause I've already heard enough horror stories about the factory fuel lines getting brittle and leaking causing fire.

Just don't think I want to push my luck.

Now if the fitting is a 1/16" to 4-AN doesn't that seem to be a bottleneck when it comes to flow?

Will it be sufficient to prevent it running lean?

it seems it's a bottle neck but it is sufficient enough. that fitting is what most mustang guys run instead of the barbed t. my uncle has it on his 03' cobra running a 150 shot and it works just fine.

I thought the same thing about it being a bottle neck, but i never had any problems with the car running lean on a 150 shot.
Would it be a good idea to upgrade from the factory fuel pump to something with more LPH?

It would be mandatory for me. Just to be safe!
Where is the best place to pick up a RPM signal for a window switch?
