I can't believe I played for Dodge for two years before he became big at southlake. Newman Smith should have paid him more so he would have stayed. He made all of us players there believe him saying he wouldn't leave. What a jackass.
UNT vs Ball State
I can't believe they are carrying this game on ESPNU. This could either be the start of the UNT offense starting to click......or it could be the start of Coach Dodge's last year.

This reception is fucking pathetic. I'd be embarassed if I was ESPN. I didn't think anyone could possibly make a game look more shitty than CBS does, and along comes this game.
On the flip side, I suppose I wouldn't waste my good cameras on UNT and Ball St, either.
Wasn't USC playing tonight? I thought I was going to get to watch a team that actually has a shot at a BCS game.....

Great win for NT. I even predicted a 48-31 loss to BSU. This team looked good and the D played well. MAC favorite Ohio comes to Denton next week. Trying not to get too caught up in the moment over 1 win.
I'm with you....one game at a time. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the D played. Unless something unforeseen happens, I will be traveling the 5 hrs to Denton next weekend to meet up with some guys from the dorm (Kendall Hall) that I lived @ 20 years ago and do some tailgating.Great win for NT.
