lol I have looked at that once before. I have just been working for over 48 hours straight now so I am a little slow. Yup I saw let the cherokee go and lets get the Rv-7 finished and fly it instead.

Whats the difference in 7 and 7a?
nice choice on that. Even though I want to learn to fly a tail dragger not sure I would want to own one.A = nosewheel
Variable, as with any airplane. You can have a $600 annual one year, and a $5000 annual the next.Whats maintenance cost on a Cherokee?
Checked out your build looks pretty good.
I did, every rivet was dipped in proseal before being set.You should of wet sealed all your rivets in the fuel tank when you installed them. Not just back seal.
Don't know what you are talking about. The tanks are built exactly according to the plans using all the hardware they call for by part #. I assume your talking about the tank inspection plate... screws are used to hold it in place (along with proseal) Some have opted to replace the screws with a hex head screw, but never seen a dome nut on anyones RV tanks. Also it looks like you have the wrong nutplates on the panel in the fuel tank. They should be dome nut.
Yes I know they sell it in the tubes already... problem is, the tubes are 3.5 ounces... and when doing the tank, you will mix much less than that at times (such as riveting the ribs in). If I did it all in the pre-filled tubes, I'd waste 80% of it since once its mixed it going to cure. Therefore I used the quart kit as Vans suggests.I see you hand mixed your B1/2 and then put in sem tubes. They make semkits which are alot easier.
dont want students beating it up. I'd be better off taking my chances with the sun. plus, you tell your insurance co that you are renting at it increases your rates by 5x.Why not try doing a leaseback somewhere? US Flight Academy, Monarch Air Addison, etc.
I am not positive on this but I believe all the monarch planes are covered by monarchs insurance.dont want students beating it up. I'd be better off taking my chances with the sun. plus, you tell your insurance co that you are renting at it increases your rates by 5x.
