Okay how the hell do you remove studs from a header? I am thinking on hosing them with PB and lettin that soak.

Then get two nuts and run them down the stud. Then try to use the bottom one to remove the stud. Does that sound like it will work?

The top of the stud should be square, to use a wrench.
