Northstar Dragway - Nick, Larry and the crew - Thanks guys, I appreciate it. You and your crew did a helluva job and we'll be back as usual.

I know there are some "unhappy" people amongst us - and for them, I say - remember that when we started this at TXR it was rough at first. Each track had a way to do things, each cruise was different and until we get it ironed out it will undoubtedly have some snags. it will definitely be the same here at Northstar. Any problems were damn sure not from a lack of effort!

For the records, the final decision in anything at the track in regards to pairings, rules, etc.. goes to a track official. I want them to make the final call and I want to stick with "track rules".

So, keep in mind, we are here to have fun, and make some passes. Sometimes we've been lucky and had some generous sponsors who give out money, sometimes we get badass prizes etc.. It's just a bragging rights thing, and it's not about the money - so, please remember to have fun and that we (I) try to accomodate EVERYONE when it comes time to pair up and line 'em up.

This cruise night was 100% sponsored by Northstar and it was thrown together in a mere 10 days! That is not easy to pull off, especially considering there were event specific Tshirts, and trophies!!!

It was great night, not a single problem for me as far as the car is concerned. I had some great help from my friends.

So thanks to Jetfast50, greenbullitt, bigshoe, and everyone else that lent a helping hand to get the noisy cricket making passes. I made some last minute changes to the carb to try to make some passes and get some fuel in it - it paid off. Thanks for the help guys!

I am sure I am leaving some people out, but it's late and I am going to bed!

until next time.....

Whoever it was at the starting line who came over and talked to me after my car had to be backed was a great representative for Northstar. Cool thing to do.

I must say the BBQ sammich combo for $5 was good grub.
Good times, good times.
sucks that me and mike missed out, but the wagon's paint is done, and that was just a high priority. big thanks to brooks for always keeping an eye out for when he can throw together a badass gtg and also to northstar for making it happen. this is the first cruise ive missed in years but im glad some newbies came out and now have the racing bug.

with all the cars breaking im sure i would have been doing the t5 twist again or something.

probably:smirk: jk. but on a side not they did a hell of a job. my poor soon to be step mom in the green 98 gt had to get use to going around the cones then backing into the water box. she wasnt having a great nite but she made some hella passes. and we blame my dad for putting the wrong time on her car during bracket:oops:
I cant wait till next time I had a blast! it was more fun getting to see friends and fellow board members run there cars instead of a bunch of random guys in dragsters takin the fun out it
