So is anyone going to buy this thing? The graphics look incredible but is it worth 250 bones? I keep debating whether or not I'm going to get one. I've got 2 hours to make up my mind.

$250 bones is way too much.... Ill buy it when the price drops below 100.
btw.. how many games are available? I saw 4 on the shelf at walmart earlier this week. doesnt sound like it has a big following by the game devs yet.

bought one at walmart tonight.... 250 is not to much, they are incredible. mine is the limited eddition that came with the spiderman 2 movie. i also got nfl street. the headphones sound great, i am listening to mp3s on it now. they screen is crystal clear. great sony product. i would recomend you pick one up
they screen is crystal clear. great sony product. i would recomend you pick one up the spider man 2 was on a disk, but you can upload movies with a usb cable, or if you have wireless internet at your home you can do it that way. it is pretty sweet. the only upgrade i would recommend would be a new mem card, the 32 mb one that comes with it can hold about a cd but more memory wouldnt hurt

To many issues with dead pixels! There is also a problem with them having 2 different sets of screens one by panasonic that is junk and the other by sony being the good one. And you have no idea which one it is when you buy it. So you may get a huge p.o.s. that has a fucked screen that by the way is not covered by warranty unless it has over 8 dead pixels!!!

Well I went ahead bought one last night. I got the limited edition, which comes with the Spiderman 2 movie. I checked out the sample disk and saw that it didn't have any playable demo, just game samples. Still the graphics looked awesome.
I checked out the Spiderman 2 movie and I give the system 2 thumbs up for it's play of the movie. The resolution was great and I did enjoy it.
However, as I sat looking at this thing, I couldn't help but thing that I just just spent 320 bucks (PSP, Game, and tax) for the whole thing. I have buyers remorse and I'm taking it back tonight. Fortunately I never opened the NFL Street 2 game that I bought.

True, but a PSP is several times larger than an iPod or iPod mini.raider5.0 said:
