Any body use this on their car?

Curious. Looks pretty sweet for changing your own oil.

I stock the T205N for a drilling company. Mainly see them on big equipment engines.
FRAM tried marketing something like that a few years back - I guess it didn't catch on.
How much time are you really gonna save by installing that. If you change oil at home, you still have to jack it up or drive up on ramps. So you save not getting out the wrench, and not having to pull on it. Doesnt really sound like a worth while add on to me.
I have used these before. They are pretty nice to have if you change your own oil. Eliminates the need to hunt up the correct size wrench or socket when changing oil. All you need is a set of pliers. You can also attach a drain hose if you want to route the waste oil off to the side, but I never did that.
It would also make it pretty easy to piss someone off. Just think, said plug is on a douches car. Douche does something douchery to another individual. Individual walks out of the building, to douches car, gets on the ground, pulls plug. Now, if said douche is a big enough douche not to realize there is oil all over the pavement, then said douche will have an issue after driving out of the parking lot.

I am not saying it will ever happen, but I am saying it will happen.:haha:
I put Fumitomo valves on all of my trucks
Im gonna buy one for my boat. I dont see the need to have one for the car though
Eh, I just take the extra 30 seconds to pull the plug:p

dude, it's SO much easier w/ the quick touch... don't get any oil on your hand, you can pinch off the flow if you're getting too full on your drain pan, etc.

I know, and it would help with the occasional "oh shit!" when the bucket moves/oil splashes out, but Id almost be worried it could be flipped open either by a douchebag or maybe debri in the road?

Shit right now, im lucky to change the oil 3-4times a year, if that...

I have one on my Lincoln welding machine and I think its pretty safe from road debris. Its gotta be pushed in and then rotated to open it.
nah, you can't just reach up there and open it, it's spring loaded w/ a detent, you have to push it in and flip it

Hell the first time I changed the oil in my machine I couldnt really see the valve because of my tool box location and it took a few mins to figure out how to flip it open..
I just use an extractor down the dipstick tube to change mine.
