Those of you who know about it will like the comparison picture.

I think that is a 70-80,000 ton ship next to it. :eek:

QM2 is the largest cruise ship in the world. Brand new, just set sail about 15 days ago from England.
150,000~tons. 2500 passangers. 1500~ crew.
5 pools.
rooms: $3000-$50,000 per week.

These are the best I could get because Port Everglades is on super lock down.

It already killed 15 when a gang plank collapsed. It was friends and families of the workers that were invited to preview the ship.

The ship is 342 meters (1,138 feet) long and 71 meters (238 feet) high -- as tall as a 21-story building -- and can accommodate 2,600 passengers.

i think i heard on the news that its 2-3times larger...but im not positive on that

The Titanic was 882 feet, 9 inches/268 metres long, Passengers: 329 First Class, 285 Second Class, 710 Third Class, Crew: 899.

The Queen Mary 2 is 3ish times larger.
The Titanic was only 40,000ish (maybe less) tons.
40,000 tons is now considerd a small cruise ship.
