QA1 help??????

Ok, so I just installed a set of 12 way adjustable shocks in the rear of my 90 fox and my passenger side is sitting like 3/4 to 1" lower than the drivers side. Exact same setting, I even tried coming 3 clicks harder on the pass side and it didn't make any difference. I drove it around the block to see if it would settle out, but it didn't. Each side was exactly the same as far as the install.

How old are your springs? The passenger rear tends to sack out sooner than the driver's side and cause it to sit lower on that side. Adjusting compression or rebound on a shock will not change ride height.
I had some QA1 stuff on my car and never could get it right. Maybe it was just my install but the engine sat crooked and higher in the back etc.
Your shocks have nothing to do with how your car is sitting.

Did your spring happen to fall out while you were doing the install?

What he said is all you need to be concerned with, the shocks do not affect ride height.... and I'll add to that.

You've most likely lost an isolater, or popped one out, or had a bad spring - or a combination of both. Change the springs, they are cheap and easy to change.
Thanks guys I feel like an idiot. I'll check that tomorrow. If that is the case the pass side is right where it should be. I have eibach pro kit springs. How much fender gap should I have? It is around a half to three quarters of an inch. Is that too low, it seems like it to me.

Without knowing what wheels and tires you're running, it is near impossible for us to answer that with any certainty.

I have seen where one spring was put in incorrectly, the other spring was missing an islolator, and it had a significant difference in fender gap above the tire.
If I remember right make sure the end of the coil (on the bottom) is at the rear. When they are at the front it jacke the car up some.
I just compared them, and the pass side coil end at the bottom is facing the drivers side of the car. I'm gonna twist the spring tomorrow. I really hope that is what it is. Thanks guys.
Also... Loosen your control arm bolts and jack up the rear and support it on jackstands so the rear is at ride height before you tighten them up. Alot of times if the rear is just hanging when you tighten the control arm bolts the bushings will bind and the suspension will never settle.

Good luck!
