996 TT X50 with 16/24 hybrids and a few extra mods. Soon to be 18/24 hybrids.

Some Porsche's a few years old are actually reasonably priced, but I bet the parts and service are ridiculous. But they are definetly sexy. I get all the models mixed up too lol.

It's not to bad. Much less than our Gallardo was and this car does everything that one did plus some.... If you take the rear bumper off it really makes doing everything yourself pretty easy.

How do they handle mods reliability wise? Meaning, after you lightly mod them, do they become unreliable junk?

Not at all with the 996 and above. They are water cooled and based on the GT1 motor. Check out 6 speed online there are many people on there with above 50K on the car just starting to mod the motors to 700hp+ without problems. (not bad for a 3.6L)

The 993 and below air cooled can handle hp but don't last near as long.

Yeah, I was poking around over there after your thread here. Some very bitchin cars can be had for the same price I am looking at for a Vette. :)
