People that have sold fox bodies...

How do you feel about your sale? I was just looking at some of the prices on 87-93 stangs and fell that I basically gave the buyer the car. I've seen pieces of shit go for $5,000+ recently. At least that's what they were asking. I don't know what they actually sold for. I do know that I sold my car for $5,300 with perfect interior, pretty well modded(HCI, full exhaust, etc...), but totally daily drivable. I think that if I were to sell it now, I could've gotten $6,500+. In all honesty I regret selling it entirely. Such a great car.

Anybody else regret selling their car? I wish I had the coin that Papa John had to track the bitch down and buy it back.

Did you sell it on here? People will say it's only worth half of what you could get on other sites. The thought of selling mine has crossed my mind, but I can't bring myself to do it. I check out other sites every now and then and it seems that foxes similar to mine are listed for about 8k to 9k. I've spoken with people who got about that for similar cars as well. Here, I'd be lucky to get 5k.

Yeah. It was on for maybe a week, and some mexican dude (nice guy) bought it without even driving it. I took him for a quick ride. I got on it for a few seconds, and he handed me a bag of cash.

All I can think is that if I would've lowered it and repainted it, it would've been one of the cleanest, best running daily driven fox bodies on the road.

Stock they are, that's no shit. My wife left her fucking 4 door at home once while she went on a business trip. My buddy drove her car and it raped my ass from about 0-40. I pulled ever so slightly from a punch.

Care to put some money on that?
Well my last really nice fox was a continuous car show winner. I had just won at Autorama. I traded it in may 08 for a 67 RS SS camaro less the motor and tranny. They wanted 9k for the car which was real close to what I wanted for my car. I sold a show winning x dps 93 black on black coupe for 10k in 06. I made 12k on a 95 cobra w/ ghost flames, in 04. Now a days you will be lucky to see sales like that.

I got a PERFECT one for sale if you want it just to have one. If you know fox bodies they are hard to find that actually work and lock in and not fall down. This one is tight and perfect!

Jk about selling it i think I have it sold. Well he said he wants it. What do you think one in PERFECT shape should sell for?

Edit: Just searched ebay. not much for buy it now and shipping.

I sold mine for $4k here on the board. It needed some work, the paint wasn't exactly perfect, and so on. Sure, I could have taken time and fixed the shit that was broken, but at the time I needed the money, and we weren't driving it that much anyway. It was time for it to find a new home. As far as I know the buyer is happy with it.

I sold my 90 LX hatch about three months ago for $5000. It had red interior and a lot of things wrong with it but it was a straight car. I made money and had a fast sale so I feel ok about it. :dunno:
i just sold one of mine so cheap it hurt. but i needed it gone and needed some cash.

the coupe won't get sold anytime soon.

He is very happy with it... and still no issues with the car. I actually have not been able to talk him into letting me drive it yet. :frown: Other than moving it in the driveway once.
