anyone know exactly where the oil sending unit is on a 99 dodge durango 5.9 liter v8?

near the distributor according to the dodge forums.

i found it, but i cant get it off! and there is a clip of some kind on the connector keeping me from unplugging it. anyone have any help for me. ??
