7.7 @93 1.89 60ft. and the car had no changes after driving it from McKinney. The weather was great last night at Northstar and the track hooked up fine for me. I'd like to raise my rev limiter up a few hundred RPMs' and try a set of lightweight wheels with slicks eventually, but for now I'm pretty happy with it.

Oh yeah, what excatly happened to the M5?

Like I said in the other thread that coupe of yours is very nice. Love the cobra rims on it. You sprayin?
i'm gonna go out on a limb and say he probably broke the trans.
What happened to that supercharged Silverado SS?

What year M5?

thats gonna be pretty hard to do. But not impossible. Getrag transmissions that they put in bmws are pretty strong. Hope it was not an smg lol his bill will be expensive to fix that!
From what we could tell underneath the car it was the passenger side half-shaft on the M5.

Car just couldnt control wheelhop. IMO, from what i was told, the suspension is dialed in too stiff across the board.

Grats on the new best! I was trying to line up against you on my last run but the guy in the red 93 cobra clone didnt understand that i wanted to swap places with him.
My car is N/A, no spray. You might have had me covered if you ran your 7.6 and didn't break on the pass when I ran the '93 cobra. That was one of the runs where I hit the rev limiter in 3rd trying to stretch it out and not shift into 4th. 6500 comes way to quick. It would be a damn close race in the 1/8 between our two cars......
ahhh that was your coupe very nice ls1 conversion man it looked clean and nice n/a time

Well, you could bump up the rev limiter a bit and you might get a little more ET out of it at expense of MPH so you dont have to shift into 4th. 3.73s out back im assuming?
3:73 6spd. 275/40 and it's like hitting the brakes when it goes into the rev limiter....
good run man, saw your car and was going to say whats up but didn't see you..

I know they like bending pushrods up at high RPM, but i figure another 200-300 rpm raised with a tuner should be able to gain some m measurable ET gains with no other changes then. Could be a simple solution and should be pretty safe.

Those LS2 motors have the stronger valvesprings in them than the earlier LS1 motors right?
I was waliking around trying to stir up the factory rubber shootout crowd and combing my beard......
They came with the 243 casting (Z06 style heads) with the beehive springs stock. I've already got a cam in there with double springs and hardened pushrods.

Surely it will rev past 6500 and make good power.I know JC ran his motor to 7000-odd RPM. Get that thing singing and maybe you can catch up to the mod motor
That's my goal, to be as fast as a mod-motor car.....

Hey my car has Maximum motorsports suspension on it and spent more time on the road course than most. It just doesnt have as MUCH maximum motorsports suspension on it as you, lol.

I actually feel pretty good being told its setup for drag though! Its got the goofiest half-done suspension setup so maybe it does at least somethings right!
Congrats on the new best.....

Need to get some spray and some Dr's on it... then you can be the fastest 10 sec LS2 powered Mustang lol

I keep telling Jason to get the Dr's out of my garage, borrow the LCA's i have and bolt up the skinnies... I know that car has a low 7 in her n/a....

Just think you almost as fast as the SVO :p
