Like I said in the other thread that coupe of yours is very nice. Love the cobra rims on it. You sprayin?
What year M5?7.7 @93 1.89 60ft. and the car had no changes after driving it from McKinney. The weather was great last night at Northstar and the track hooked up fine for me. I'd like to raise my rev limiter up a few hundred RPMs' and try a set of lightweight wheels with slicks eventually, but for now I'm pretty happy with it.
Oh yeah, what excatly happened to the M5?
thats gonna be pretty hard to do. But not impossible. Getrag transmissions that they put in bmws are pretty strong. Hope it was not an smg lol his bill will be expensive to fix that!i'm gonna go out on a limb and say he probably broke the trans.
Well, you could bump up the rev limiter a bit and you might get a little more ET out of it at expense of MPH so you dont have to shift into 4th. 3.73s out back im assuming? My car is N/A, no spray. You might have had me covered if you ran your 7.6 and didn't break on the pass when I ran the '93 cobra. That was one of the runs where I hit the rev limiter in 3rd trying to stretch it out and not shift into 4th. 6500 comes way to quick. It would be a damn close race in the 1/8 between our two cars......
3:73 6spd. 275/40 and it's like hitting the brakes when it goes into the rev limiter....
Surely it will rev past 6500 and make good power.I know JC ran his motor to 7000-odd RPM. Get that thing singing and maybe you can catch up to the mod motor :tongue:They came with the 243 casting (Z06 style heads) with the beehive springs stock. I've already got a cam in there with double springs and hardened pushrods.
Hey my car has Maximum motorsports suspension on it and spent more time on the road course than most. It just doesnt have as MUCH maximum motorsports suspension on it as you, lol. That's my goal, to be as fast as a mod-motor car.....
