New bests tonight!

New best 60 foot : 1.59
New best 330 - 4.9
New Best 1/8 - 7.6!
1st wheels up launch! It wasnt anything like pumpkinheads wheelstands but daylight counts, haha!

Short burnouts on ET Drags and Skinnies. 5300(ish) clutch drop. It was still bogging a little bit so i was going to experiment raising the RPM but alas, it was not to be so. My final run was par for the course for track trips, but this time i at least got some fun results first!

Oddly, my MPH dropped throughout the night and was off my best MPH numbers. Im suprised it had such a good 60 considering it has stock UCAs with cracked all to hell bushings all over the car.

that suxs bout ur car. hope to see it at the fall cruise
Good to see you out there Ryan, I've always liked your car - it's fun to watch.
I appreciate you taking time to hunt for some electrical tape, and for Scott (HeloSailor) for helping me work with that ground wire.

Looks like had a great night too Brooks! Thanks for putting on the cruise!
thata a sharp looking car, good track times
Nice times Ryan! It's a moving.

So, what happened to your car? Looking at the pics I see it loaded up on a flatbed.

Something let go in the driveline. After speaking to AL P it looks like its the cluster gear/output shaft based on how its operating.

IMO, thats a bigger relief than the rear end! The t-45 grenading was predictable, lol.
It was a very good pass man. Your car looked really mean when it launched!
What is done to your Cobra? Thats moving, congrats.
havent been following your car. is it NA or power adder? good times what was your mph 92 or so? 1.59 60 ft is damn good although they come with a pricetag.
getting new toys. This driveline WILL NOT BREAK.

Hell yea! Do it once and do it right, then yah don't have to worry.

Those pics of your car I took didn't come out good at all due to lighting. :tounge-in-cheek:
what ended up breaking?
It was an axle after all. I told him 35 spline spool with Moser axles but he hid under the bed.
haha!

Yep. Axle decided it didnt like hanging with its buddies and dueced out.

Soooo im stepping it up to a 31-spline unit with a Cover, moser axles. Oh , and a 26-spline built t-56 with a twin-disk clutch. And something else to finish off the N/A build.

35-spline spool would be manly, buuut i likes to turn.

Next up : Baller fuel system and front suspension. I cants afford ze turbo AND all that stuff at once.

I'll be selling my fuel system after I get the primary pump rebuilt by aeromotive. ;)

Congrats on lifting the tire. I remember the first time that the bird did that. I was like wtf? LOL......

Damn Ryan, you are going all out....twin disk on a all motor car? I would say keep the Ram 900, if you dont already have one in there. John's Ram 900 is still holding up with the twin turbo set up and pulling the wheel(s) in 2nd gear.

.....and I always hated pulling the transmission out of your car with the longtubes :rocketwhore:. The T-56 will be alot easier.
