I bought some VHT 1500 degree paint, and on the back it talks about how to cure it. My question is, can this be done in a home oven? And if so, how bad does it smell, is it bad for you to breath, etc.?

Headers

I've done it. Didn't smell too bad. Make sure your wife or mom isn't home though because they will freak. Works well and that paint is awesome.

well, just a little suggestion..

Wipe down the headers with some acetone or something to clean up all the oils off of them and then use some gloves and paint them. Dont touch them until they get out of the oven with your bare hands cause the oils mess up the paints.
