I'm labeling all my photos from the U.S.S Alabama Memorial Park Museum and for the life of me I can't remember this aircraft. I've got all others named except this one!

Damn. If you would've asked me when I was 10 years old I could have told you. Jets and dinosaurs were my obsessions. I don't remember shit about either now.

Good luck.
I'm thinking A7.... But it doesn't look right..
F14 Tomcat?
what era is it?
but it doesn't have the lower rear wings... I wonder if there were mods to them like all other fighters

btw, that place is very cool to go to. I went a few times when I was in Pensacola. Rumor has it, the battleship makes a pretty good hurricane shelter too. :D

You're not kidding... The hangar beside the ship got destroyed. To include some of the aircraft which was thrown around. Even the concrete walkway was destroyed.. However the 90 million pound ship stayed right in place without any problems
I just got back from there 2 weeks ago.

Did you get any pics of the SR71 tires? I was trying to explain them to my Dad, about how they were silver in color, and the explination on how they were made.

We were told that the ship actually "tilted" 8 degrees. (Listed?) But, that it wasnt worth the time or effort to adjust it.
