When downloading MP3's, do you guys ever get some that aren't as loud as others? I make sure I get 128 kbps or higher, but I dunno what else I need to check. After I burn a CD, some songs are too quiet, and others are, obviously, louder.
I don't know of a way to check for that before downloading, but before burning you can use an option in most burning (or decompressing) software to "Normalize". Theoretically the system will scan the file for volume levels and make them all a level you can specify.
