no, I had that in my old apartment to. the maint. guy said it is not "black mold" and it is from condensation that forms and then mildews. Just spray some bleach cleaner on it nad it should go away.
Mold on the AC vent...
Went through and cleaned my apartment yesterday and focused on all the extra places I don't normally get (corners, base boards, etc), and noticed what looked like dust build up on my vent that's closest to my AC unit. Get a chair and take a closer look and it's not dust, I see that it's mold. I pull off the vent to take a closer look and I find it around the inside edge of the vent but it doesn't look as if it's all through the ducting. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Yeah that was my first thought but that would require me waiting 2-3 days for them to do it. I took care of it myself (which I shouldn't have to) and didn't want to deal with my complex's BS.Apartments need to come clean that shit up asap in my opinion!
