Anyone picking up Snow Leopard? I just picked it up, should be a good upgrade, and can't beat the price!

I havent ordered it yet. some of the applications i have dont work with it so im waiting it out.

Mac I have is a govn't computer so unless they give me the go ahead I can't upgrade

We are in the process of upgrading one of our Macs up here at work to play around with. I've been considering upgrading my MacBook as well but I'm concerned about incompatibility with any software I have installed. Guess I need to do a backup before giving it a try

For $29 you can't beat the price of the upgrade though.

I wonder if there will be any issues with fusion... I'm going to pick up my copy tomorrow

I'll let you know once we upgrade the iMac which we have running Fusion. I use Parallels at home myself.

Last Thursday, I ordered a copy off Amazon. Those fuckers have yet to ship it.

Is it available at Best Buy yet? I've already backed up my Mac and I'm ready to do the upgrade.

So far, so good. Haven't had any compatibility problems yet. And I don't think I lost anything (I didn't back anything up because it's just an upgrade) It's noticeably faster, more HD space, and the new features are helpful (especially Quicktime).
