Lowering an 01

I have a 2001 GT. I just traded my stock rims and tires for some FR500s. Fronts are 17x8 and rears are 17x10.5 with the typical tire sizes on them. I want the wheels to sit pretty flush with the fenders (I'm at stock ride height at the moment...looks like a damn 4x4) but if I can I'd like to avoid having to buy aftermarket struts and camber correction too. I've seen a lot of people using Eibach Pro-Kit but that still leaves a pretty sizable gap. Any ideas? Or pics would be even better.

Bad idea avoiding caster/camber correction. It's basically a must. You'll wear out the inside edge of your front tires in no time. Maximum Motorsports makes a pretty solid four bolt caster/camber plate.

He's right. You'll spend more money replacing tires rather than saving money by not getting them.
