You got it exactly right, It is a stock rod, stock crank, and stock block 306 with a 400$ rebuild - and it's just as fast as big bank hank with the slow ass tank.
I am relatively sure your pistons alone cost more than my whole motor. Therefor, you have the big, bad 408.
