iPhone 3gs Battery....

I'm shopping around for one as we speak, and that is the MAJOR issue I would like to know before I go blow $200 on one.

you find a 3gs for 200 buy it and i will give you the 200 for it...

i have a apt with the apple store at 4... they should just swap out the phone...

Yeah I thnk you have a defective battery... I can go all day on a charge using my Phone a lot (texting and data)

it was fine sunday morning... i fell asleep with 23% or something woke up put it on the charger... took it off at 100 texted a few people and what not... withen 30 i was around 50%

yup something is wrong... my 3gs hasnt been charged in 2 days, and i use it heavily when taking a shit... and ive taken 2 so far today.

If you have the push, and notifcations on all the time it will drain the battery. Also, the brightness of the screen affects it as well.

3g wifi push all are off....

No battery problems here, i can go 12 hours on a charge, i use it all day

I think whats WRONG is the battery, and the fact you have to make an appointment to go to a retail store and speak to an employee. just my .02

yeap... i went in.. he gave me the whole story about how long it should last blah blah blah.... then tried to give me my phone back... i was like uhhh no... he pulled the diag on it and it shows minuted used since last charge was 2 minutes and some seconds... i just updated it to the 3.0.1 in the parking lot and cleared everything off it.. it was jail broken... after a few min he gave me another one...

he said the typical on the 3gs is 4-6 hrs of moderate use...

oh funny man.. i was looking for one for that purpose.. i have repaired a few 2g and 3g iphone the 3gs is about the same as the 3g... should be easy.. but as long as i have a warrenty i will let them do it

I just got one, so we'll see how good mine will last.

Mine will last a solid 16-18 hours. with moderate use.
