Am I seeing that right? Are the bolt lugs not closing all the way? It looks like it's kicking open on recoil alone.

It looks like a mossberg 590, he may be holding the slide release down while firing to achieve this. I couldn't find any writeups anywhere to explain it. It is ejecting the shell using recoil alone though.

I believe that is what he is doing, chambers a round, holds the slide release, bang, stays open, insert shell and in the same motion slide the pump forward and pull the trigger.

Thats what I see. I want to see someone try that.

I wonder if there is a way to do it with a 870 ... I cant think of a way to do it effectively.
