Took my boys there today. It's not the best facility in the world but they have some pretty amazing animals there.

Here's their website with info for those who don't know what it is.

It's pretty sad how some of these animals were treated before they were brought here. They now have somewhere to live that they will be properly treated and cared for. It was very difficult to get any good shots of them because there are 2 chainlink fences in the line of sight.

Anyways, here's a couple that turned out ok.

Man, thanks for posting that. Never even knew about it. Funny how you can live in an area for so long and have no idea things like this are around. The wife and I will have to check that out some time.

It was pretty neat to see and I was happy to help support their cause by going.

I wouldn't mind going to one of the night time feedings.

It makes you appreciate it even more when you read the stories they have on their website about how they found the animals and the condition they were in.

Just don't go expecting it to be a "zoo" experience.

The owners are family friends of mine. l8trg8tr on here's Aunt and Uncle are the ones that run the facility. Some of the nicest, most awesome people you will ever meet. Vicki Keahey absolutely loves each and everyone of the cats and gives her heart and soul to this place.

I have posted a few times about this place before on here, have a few pics somewhere, even one of me feeding a 400 lb Bengal tiger a chicken thigh through the fence. Was amazing to here the crunch of the bone as it pulled it through the fence.

If there was enough interest I could maybe get in contact with her to set up a Dfwstangs tour.

I thought you were talking about the Wylie out here in Abilene. I was surprised that something like that would be out here, then I googled the addy and saw it was near Dallas.
