Hoarders

Haven't watched last night's episode yet, but I've been watching it. It's amazing to see how attached these people are to their garbage, how much they can accumulate and not be phased by how disgusting it becomes and how freaked out they get at just the thought of having to throw a single item away.

I don't see how these "professional organizers" can willingly subject themselves to dealing with such conditions on a daily basis.

I haven't seen the show, but I have been in a house that probably qualifies. I don't get the obsession, but I can say, I have had those thoughts while cleaning out the closets or garage. "Man I still like this hat, maybe it will come back in style" I.E my 1992 Mavericks hat. I kept it, it still had the tag on it and its pretty cool I still had it.

DVR every episode.
Every time I watch it I cant belive how people live. It keeps getting worse!

Show makes me sick, last nights with that old fucking couple and all their cats. About all of the cats that were found alive had to be killed b/c of diseases and then all the dead cats/kittens they found everywhere...like over 85+ cats/kittens.

They should be killed, old bastards :cussing:

When they showed the trailers before the season started, I figured I'd watch just to snicker at/be disgusted by the train-wreck people on the show. Then I watched a couple of episodes, and I ended up seeing how pathetic the people are and I got disgusted. I guess I've just been in way too many of those kinds of houses. Its a trip down memory lane that I can do without.

This show is just fucking crazy to watch. Disgusting fucking people.

I caught it a few weeks ago and almost made a thread then -They were going through this lady's fridge and there was food in there from the early 2000s, eggs that were over a year old and there was some insect crawling inside some of the jars.

It made me feel a lot better about myself, but it put me off of my food.

I can't imagine some of the smells that these people encounter.

You are correct, sir. The smells are MUCH worse than the sights.

Kyle and I were watching that while eating and I had to turn my head away several times. It makes me totally gross out looking at the hair and filth everywhere.

We were eating stir fry while watching the cat lady episode and none of it phased me until the little gay kid started cleaning up the dog hair. Those mounds of nasty hair with shit all mixed was the kicker for me.
