Grass Dye/Spray?

1224 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  zemog
Well I have a lot of people coming in this weekend and A pretty big section of my St. Augustine browned out in the Texas heat. While a good chunk of it is starting to come back...I have read of foreclosure companies using an organic, non-toxic green dye to spray on properties that have brown lawns.

Anyone know where to get some of this or a local company that can come out before Friday and spray my lawn?

I can't find anything on Lowes or Home Depot...so maybe a garden shoppe might carry something.

Just a temporary solution until the grass comes back.

I had that issue right before summer; got the sprinkler system installed and I have the greenest yard in the neighborhood. :D

Don't know about any easyfix.

question is have you mowed it?
you can buy it at john deere landscapes (formerly lesco) it is a green paint, but you can go cheaper with just a tracker ( buy at same place), just dont walk on it when its wet or you and your company will have green shoes, it will come off but usually not amusing to unsuspecting company. oh spray the tracker only a day or two prior to showing, as it only last a few days. if you use the paint you will be able to tell you sprayed it as it is really really green.

Cool, there is one here in Arlington not too terribly far from my house. So I just stroll in and ask for some Tracker lawn paint?

TIA
tracker is just a dye not a paint, but it will last long enough for what you are trying to accomplish.
