I have a friend that was once a neighbor down the street that came by with a 2002 Z28. Fresh out of Speedtek with a vortec supercharger and a tune. Claims 530 wrhp and around 480 plus on the torque. Now most of you would think this is no big deal. But I have been in very few cars with this type of power. DAMN! 50 mph punch and the tires are barely keeping traction. It would slip a little and grab a little. I could not get the grin off my face. It would be fun as hell to sport around with that type of power.

A whole lot longer than the pistons and head gaskets:)

I had a similar thrill yesterday Barry.

Went boating on Eagle Mt yesterday with my brother. A friend of his showed up with a Kawasaki X250 PWC (jet ski). He told me to take it for a spin and said that it's pretty damned fast and - be careful.

Holy mother of God, was that thing sick! I had no fucking idea that they had the torque/power that this thing exhibited. From dead stop, it would literally pull the handle bars from your wrist, and 75mph on water is pretty bad ass!

He offered to sell it to me for what he owes on it. Paid $14K for it and the trailer and is offering it for around $7800, with trailer. Has less than 7 hours on it.

Not long, those things are junk from what I hear. One good launch at the track with some power and thats all it takes.
Those vortec prochargers are the shit!

I'd hope 250hp/900 pounds would be fast:)
I rode in a T-bucket once that had a 468 blower motor in it. was really fast, tiny pieces of rubber would hit you elbow when taking off smoking the tires. It was fun.

I have an idea of what you mean. A friend of mine has the seadoo rxt, the damn thing has 255hp, 75mph comes way too quick.
I sold my 540rw Cobra that wasn't even competitive with todays faster street cars. You aren't "fast" unless you are making 750rw+ these days. Fuckin crazy fast cars running around DFW.
Wow can I touch you.:lame:
Seriously? That's a no nuts, insecure statement.

Sounds like a fun ride. I still remember the first taste of real power. Back when 6.9 1/8ths were unreal.
I haven't been in many fast cars. It's always cool when you get to go for a ride in something like that.

I always appreciate a ride that sets you back in the seat.
