Some of ya'll might not give a crap, but I think any husband would be proud. Anyways if you havent heard yet BBVA Compass bought Guaranty bank a few days ago and my wife Amber Ladd was chosen to be a rep to go to their branches and talk about any concerns. Ok well this article was on the banking front page today.

Success Stories Abound as Former Guaranty Bankers Share the BBVA Compass Story



Reports are pouring in from former Guaranty Bank banking centers of customers saved and gained through the efforts of BBVA 'ambassadors' and their new and highly enthusiastic bank colleagues.



District Retail Executive Lynne Duncan at Guaranty's Camp Bowie branch shared this story about her ambassador, Financial Sales Representative Amber Ladd:



"I would like to recognize Amber Ladd from the Bryant Irvin Road Branch. On Monday, she was instrumental in assisting one of our bankers save a $600,000 client relationship! She overheard the conversation between the banker and the client and immediately took the initiative to join the conversation to calm the client's concerns regarding the recent change in ownership. We truly appreciate her proactive support!"



Meanwhile, in California, District Retail Executive Diane Demidzic shared these items:



"Roseville Banking Center Manager John Lombardo saved a relationship of more than $128k by telling the story of BBVA and regained a client who had left with his deposits. The client will be bringing $250k back to Lombardo's branch.



"The team at Parkwoods, led by Amanda Dhaliwal, told the story to each client and opened seven new checking relationships today.



"And Patty Alisea, Walnut Creek personal banker, turned a client's concern into an opportunity and sold a $100k annuity with new money to the bank and opened a $25k money market account for the client."
