So I went to shuck N Jive last night and was very disappointed with the boiled crawfish. So where is a good place to eat the dirty little bastards?

I know you enjoy sucking on the heads until something comes out.

I don't know if it is any good for sucking on crawfish but I want to go to Pappadeaux sometime.
I was at HPP one day and there was a crawfish company near there called Cajun Boil 972-337-2645. They are not a resturaunt I think they only do catering. Don't know if this helps but I thought I would throw it out there.
I work in LA and right now the prices are outrageous for Craw fish. The season is still early. The last time I was back on shore it 100.00 for a 35lb-40lb sack. I have had the boiled crawfish at nates before and wasn't half bad.
A couple of my propane customers have crawfish stands. THey have been putting out some great batches now for about 4 weeks. They even throw little mushrooms in the mix. Those little fuckers are awesome!!

Oh, this a bit to the East from ya'll.
I work with a bunch of cajuns and they were saying that water has been too cold. So harvesting has been a little slower. The annual Crawfish fest in Beauxbridge (sp) isn't till may this year.
razzoos..
Holliers.

Sulphur,La.

'Round here, try Nates, or the Alligator Cafe.

We go to JJ's oyster bar in Fort Worth sometimes. Off university.

Let's go sometime. I don't care about whole crawfish, too much work, but all their stuff rocks. The old lady will have to get chicken. haha
I prefer boiling 'em myself but there are a lot of good places in the bayou city to get mud bugs right now. They're a little smaller but they'll do. Ditto on the mushrooms - they absorb all that seasoning like a sponge.

In FTW, Pappadeaux is the only place I know of.

Anyone recommend something?

Sounds good to me! Just let me know when! :lick: Or she could get a hamburger with no pickles, lettuce, tomato, etc. lol
I have about 100 of those thing in my front and back yard.......come get all ya want.
Dodie's on Lower Greenville, across from Whole Foods is a great Cajun Joint. Hook, Line, and Sinker on Lemmon is a good place to get crawfish, so there's two options.
I haven't had whole crawfish from a restaurant in years. Nate's used to be pretty good, but again, it's been years.

Robert - Shoot me a pm with some addresses if you have them. I'll be out that way next week, and would love to check them out.
