I can scrape up $120......

She forwards that to me and im lmao.... $5. Are you kidding me?? wtf is up with ppl. $5!!!! So I had a little fun with it...

She said $125 which is already cheap for this monitor. If $120 is ALL you can "scrape" up... Then how about this: You bring $120 for the monitor, and when you come to pick it up, ill let you use MY lawn mower and MY gas to mow MY yard, and when your done, ill give you the $5 you need to buy the monitor for $125. Deal?

Nicely played sir, I hate low ballers.
Nice! People are effin' amazing.

A buddy of mine had a treadmill they weren't using. His wife gave it to a woman she works with. Some kind of cord with a sensor to monitor your pulse was missing from the treadmill. When the woman and her husband showed up to pick up the treadmill, the woman's husband had the gall to ask my friend if he'd mind buying them a new pulse sensor since it was part of the treadmill.
lmao that's fuckin funny.
Wow you are soooo cool
The lowballers on Craigs List are second only to the lowballers on this site...There are some legendary lowballers amongst us.:saroll:

He didn't low ball enough to be from here. If he offered $56.13 and it be delivered, I would say you have a fair assumption. Or maybe if he offered to make payments of $10 for the next 6 weeks.
Thats perfect!
Lowballers are lame. I usually don't even reply to them unless I priced the item on the higher range.

same thing I do, I sold a radio that I wanted $40 for on there, and listed the price as $55...Had a lowballer tell me all he could come up with was $45...lol $5 more than what I wanted

Nice! I always add 25%-30% to the price I want when I list it on CraigsList. Sometimes I still don't even get what I was wanting.
Its not even the lowballers that get me. Its the sob stories that are annoying. I had about 12 - 15 Dell Computers that I refurbished and were selling on that site. I had most listed for $200 and some higher end models for around $220 - $230

I received a call one day from a guy and he gave me a sob story about how hes out of a job and his puppy is sick and he lost his right arm in a war and got crabs from a hooker last night and blah blah blah blah and only has $100....HALF of what I am asking for a 100% functioning computer system with legit OS.

I tell him, I can't do it, but I know my cities library has free use of their computers...maybe he can try that.

I kid you not, he repeated the phrase "well man, I got $100...can you work with me" about 10 times. Each time, I was polite and said, sorry, I can't go any lower than that because I'd be eating into the machines cost.

Finally he got the hint....wow.

Sold most of em for what I was asking...the last few I dropped to $180 for fast sales because I have to pay off Hawaii.

I was selling a s-10 with a rod knocking and had a douche bag try and low ball me. I was asking 1200 for it and he asked if i would take 800 cause it needed an engine.I said no cause i told you it will need engine in the ad but i'll take 1000 and he haggled with me till the price was 975 and told him whats 25 dollars. As he was haggling my phone rang and it was my brother but i acted like it was another buyer and told the dude that someone was on there way to look at it, so the the guy gave me 1000 and left.
how big of an LCD monitor is it? $140 gets you a NEW dell 23"...

sounds like you're the one wanting more for something than it's worth
You know what they say. Your first offer is normally your best offer. Even if it is a lowball lol.
