check the contacts on the injector/ harness plug. if they are good try swapping the bad injectors to another loaction and see if the problem tracks.
fuel problem ????
Got a 98 mustang gt with a vortech supercharger. Its set up with a fmu and has the return style fuel system.my number 5 cylinder and number 8 both have spark to the plugs.the fuel injectors for these two cylinders are not spraying fuel but the injector pig tail is pulsing from the ecm.the spark plugs are bone dry . So why don't I have fuel ? I checked the psi at the rail and the gauge reads 32 psi and then I disconnect the vac the fpr and the gauge reads only 41 .this should spike to 60 -70 right . Any ideas ...

I used the injector test light as the engine was running and it flashed so its the contacts ?they look good and have power ...
where did you put the test light on the harness? if you put the light on the harness and it flashes that means the harness has power but what if the harness plug to the injector isn't making contact. also the ground wire to the injector could be bad/ open.I used the injector test light as the engine was running and it flashed so its the contacts ?they look good and have power ...
Test light to the contacts on the pig tail.I guess its just not making connection to the two prongs on the injector.I felt the injector and it seemed like it was ticking .
you could have been feeling a number of things i like the vibrations from the engine. at this point if it were my car i would test for continuity on the ground wire. if that checks good i would swap the injectors to a different location to see if the problem follows. if it does, its a bad injector.Test light to the contacts on the pig tail.I guess its just not making connection to the two prongs on the injector.I felt the injector and it seemed like it was ticking .
I swapped both around and the same problem no fuel on 5 and 8 ? So the injectors work but won't work when conneted to the 5 and 8 pig tails .can you bypass this some how?
i would now check the ground on those two harness pigtails, if good then i would suspect that those two plugs are bad or possibly the fuel rails are clogged (not likely though). you should visually inspect the injector harness for any chaffing/ rubbing anywhere and look for exposed wires also.I swapped both around and the same problem no fuel on 5 and 8 ?
