Just got back. I bought a Explore Optics scope, get it home and look down the tube and its has shit on the inside glass. So agian i'll have to pay $5 to park ang $8 to get in just to exchange it. Did find some 6.5g ammo and mags.
I'm looking to pick up a nightstand gun for the apartment. I'm looking for something around $300 that my girl wont have trouble shooting. Been looking at Keltec P-11's, Ruger LCP, and Taurus Millennium pro 9mm. Anything else I should look out for? I've never been to a gun show before...are the prices usually cheaper than in store?

No difference in legal issues. It's more of a one shop stock, everything under one roof, guns, gear, ammo, comparison shop, haggle ect. I go to buy ammo that you can't find at any retail store. I've never bought a gun at a "gun show".How come people even have to go to a gun show instead of just going to a shop? Is it because of the legal issues?
I want to go but my licence expired on Wednesday and all I have the temporary driving permit. Last time I went they didn't charge to park.
I saved 70 bux on the gun I wanted at the show today. I had been looking at M&P compacts...best price I found was at Bachman(499). I got it this morning for 430. S/W also has a $50 rebate now. It was worth it to park and pay to get in.

My point is if I wanted to find any militant groups, that would be a good place to start. I wouldnt even go in I would just watch the parking lot and see how many people are coming out with guns, ammo and how much they are carrying. Is it a man with his son or is it 4 adult men carrying more than they could ever need for themselves. Copy down there license plate number and a brief description of each person. I wouldnt use that information by itself but when you cross reference it with anything else you might have something to look into a little more. just sayinSo? Whats your point?
