I just got an autometer mechanical oil pressure and water temp gauges. I'm wondering where to hook em up. Can I hook the water temp probe to the rear of my perfomer lower or does it have to go in the front stock location? As far as the oil pressure line where is the best spot for it? Am I going to have to get an adapter for both the stock sending unit and the line to the new gauge? For those of you with these unit please give me some input. I did a search but really didn't get any usefull info for a 95 GT. Thanks for your time guys.

Autometer gauges

You will need an adapter for the water temp gauge. You can get one at Lowes. Use the stock location for the water temp and move the stock sender to the back of the lower intake. The oil pressure will hook up in the stock location. Just unscrew the stock sender and insert the Autometer one.
