Has anybody ever taken off the lower part of an FMU/Super FMU? I took out the 4 screws to clean it out and although it's a very simple design, I just read where Vortech says if you take the valve out, you must replace it...I cannot see why??? The FMU is a very simple piece of equipment...Is Vortech just trying to keep repair/support down? Enlighten me....
