finally got a foxbody!!!

i just bought my first decent foxbody...its a 85 4 eye foxbody with the motor, trany, suspension, and full interior out of a 91 gt in it...81k miles all stock except for some flowmasters...it rides like a brand new car..most importantly the ac blows ice cold...i love the looks of a 4 eye with all the goodies of a aero drivetrain and interior...please let me know what you think...

The 4 eyed cars are my personal favorite and you have the best looking year model with the '85-'86.

Unfortunately, someone ruined the inside of yours with the later model interior.....outside looks very nice though and I'm sure that it runs very well.

As for completely stock. It may be completely stock as having parts that went down a Ford assembly line, but nothing in your car is stock for the year it was manufactured, not if it all came out of a later model car........was that MSD distributor cap stock?

nice ride congrats. been looking for a clean notch for a while, but every one i looked at sonunded a lot better in the ad than it looked in person so i settled for a sn95.

That's preference, but I think the 87+ interior is a LOT better than the 4-eye interior...minus the seats.

Get some heads for that car! Those factory heads are horrible.

I prefer the old fairmont interior, but I wouldn't turn that car down for having the later dash

the interior is pure opinion...i like the 80's look of the older interiors....honestly i wouldnt mind having either....

oh and ur right i also put an air freshener in the car so i guess its FAR from stock!i guess its radically modified...huh?

if you think so.

Your car having a complete driveline and interior from a different year car is what makes it not "all stock" as your original post states. It does look nice and I have no issue at all with the driveline being from a different car.....it just isn't "all stock" as you said.

Yes, the interior is purely opinion. I prefer the earlier interior in the earlier cars. When well done the later interior can look good in the earlier cars.

86 was the first year of EFI, last year of the 4eye

only a doucheapple cares what "true stock" means
