so i bought one of those cans that have the built in gauges to refill my ac. When i hooked it up the needle pointed to yellow that says i need to get it checked by a pro. Anyone ever have that problem? What the hell is a pro gonna do to it?

those aint worth a shit. it is an up sell product, to get u by
A pro is going to put a set of gauges on it & that along with their experience, will tell a LOT more than the death in a can yellow mark tells you.
go buy some real gauges and check it yourself. half of these so called PROS are a bunch of clowns.
The gauges on the can will get you hurt. At the very least can cause you to blow a hose or cause some other damage to your system.

Spend the cash to buy the right gauges, take a little time to research what you are doing, and charge your system (semi) properly.

If he does home/commercial ac then no there not the same. Get you a set of gauges and post what the numbers are if you want some help. Yellow doesnt mean a whole lot. Or I can take a look at it for you
Read this thread and you'll be a little more educated on a/c systems.

Whats it doing? cycling, not cooling?
everything works fine but i know it could blow alot cooler
I don't know what an a\c service runs in the metroplex, but at 29.95 plus refrigerant I think it's well worth it for my customers to let me handle there a\c services.
