That really sucks for the passenger and his family. Those little cars are so unpredictable. The bad part is, it doesn't appear they were going that fast - he just lost it right at the end of the tire spin...maybe 80' or so.

If that guy doesn't get put away for a long time, he'll be a basket case knowing he killed his buddy.
Wow lots of dangerous "nitrogen" in the pics
Sad for sure
They are going to prosecute a dead guy? Who wrote this shit?
LOL
Elwood was the driver, not the guy killed.
Yeah, just read it again. Ninjas all up in here before I can delete my dumbassery!
In that case the driver is FFL.

At 60 he surely is..

BTW, small town news is strange.. Do they really need to identify the mortuary and wrecking company that cleaned up the scene?
Rip...

The massive 454" engine. Men at the scene were saying that the engine was just too powerful for such a small car.

Women had no comment... I like this town.

They all know each other so they give themselves free plugs. :)
Small car , small cage , no helmet = GAME OVER . I bet it was just a matter of the passengers head hitting the top cage bar or the ground as it rolled . Luck of the draw . If it rolled the other way it probably would have killed the driver instead .

Media ignorance FTW!
window nets are your friend.............

Well, technically it is compressed nitrogen, but with a few other things too.
That sucks, is that blood on the sheet in the second pic?

Pretty sure at that point, he was still in the vehicle.

It is used for air shifters, boost controllers and with some nitrous cars to keep the pressure consistent. I get your point though.
Look at the pictures of the seats. The driver's belts are up and behind the seat, he was wearing them. The passenger ones are on the seats like he was sitting on them, no blood on them either. I don't think he was even wearing the harness. But who knows.

SOB damn. I do like the opals when there converted over like that. But being wreckless like that on the street is not smart especially at there age.
Funny car?
