Anyone know off hand what a 4 door fox fairmont weighs? Did they make the 4 door with the 2.3l? and a stick?
Thanks

yes they did, they don't weigh much... getting a 4dr below 2800 is VERY easy with a full interior

Sweet, thanks Forrest, I think I found my Doner car for the thunderbird drive train.
You think my 275 50 15's and rodlites will fit in the wheel well?

considering i use to have that exact same tire/wheel in my fairmont, yes, but believe it or not, 275-60's will fit better. keep in mind you will have a lot of grinding, cutting and hammering to get a 275 tire to fit. if you are only gunna have a 2.3 engine, a 255 tire would be better in my opinion.
What year is the best to look for?
what do you mean?
Well as in the 90's fox mustangs had larger wheel wells, than the 80's, or how some years had better wiring and such.
Just trying to learn as much as I can before I throw money at something.

as far as wheel wells go every fairmont you buy should be the same. all fairmonts are the same except for body panals for the most part.
do you have any pictures of yours?
I'd like to see that setup.
a 275 will fit if you roll the fenders, but not with the TC axles... just use the TC rear and swap over the fairmont axles/brakes
