I know, let me preface this to you women out there, men can do the same thing, but hear me out as to my disgust.

So my brother just calls me and tells me his new wife (married 9 weeks now) just walked in and told him it was over, she was moving in with her boss and has been seeing him privately now for 3 months. (granted they got married 2 months ago). My brother paid off all her debt, paid off her car, etc. once they got married and bought a house in his name. She says she was afraid to hurt him so thats why she didnt tell him sooner and that she basically got married b/c she didnt know what she wanted. (she is 27)

What in the holy fuck??? Sorry, just had to rant. She told him 3 hours ago and Ive been on the phone with him for the past 2 hours. I told him to tell her to get her ass out of his house 5 mins ago which he is doing now, kicking her out and her crap. I swear, how low can you be? Use someone to pay your bills off, go thru the engagement, get married, let your supposed partner move on as if life were grand and you were starting a new chapter in your life and this??? Unreal.........seriously how can someone do this to another person?

yep, used him to pay all her debt off (about $35k worth) and does this. That is just lower than dog shit. I mean he sells his classic mustang for her, empties most of his savings for her, and she does this.

More than anything (i know this sounds weird) but as a brother I am just hurt for him. His last g/f (who he was to marry after 3 years of dating) was killed in a car accident and it took him a few years to get over her, and now this.

That is the exact reason I waited 1 year to pay my wifes debt off. I would get a good lawyer and sue the shit out of her. Make her pay him back.

That's weird. I was just talking to a broad last night about somebody she knew that was in the same situation (fiance killed in car wreck, getting married a few years later, only a few months ago).

well they dated for 9 months, got engaged for 9 months, and just got married in july. I told him to wait before he did anything major like that (paying her debt off) and he waited until they got married to pay it off. Well, once everything was paid off as of last week she decides to break it to him tonight--I cant get over how low that is- just sickening.

I feel bad for your brother but it seems hard to think there were no signs of this.
I'm about to get married , and let me tell you *eyes in the m/f back of my head*
not that im worried, 4 years dating now, but many guys gave me good advice.
Even if you think you know them though, shit can change real fast. Life is a long time.

i asked him tonight if he saw little signs, and now looking back he did, but that he never really put 2 and 2 together until tonight. Now looking back he saw the subtle signs of something not being quite right-but being that this was marriage he shrugged it off.

I can relate, I had a chick I was engaged too, we had been together for 4 years, and had been engaged for a year, 3 months before the wedding she breaks it too me she is prego. I went and sold my S/C 95 cobra and bought her a Ford Escape. She breaks it off 1 month before the wedding and tells me she is leaving me for this 30 year old dude with no job and living with his mom. The next 7 months I think the baby is mine, then I learn that it isnt after she was born. I lost the escape and all the money I spent on the wedding. I had a house that at the time I didnt need. I didnt have 35+k but I had around 20k I just lost.
