Driving to a friends house tonight, my car died. I pulled it in and it would crank but not ignite, with the fuel pump not powering, i had to get a friend to bring a stock coil, I dont know if this was the problem. With the stock coil the fuel pump powered. We later found out the distrubtor rotor ate it from a vibration (i think) and took out my magnet im predicting that should be the extent of my problem. Also noted, i have oil pressure also, so nothing wrong there. Can anyone rebuild a Distributor fast (a day) in the metroplex? If not then I will upgrade, but im stranded until i change it out.

Had that happen on an SVO, what a PITA. Get an autozone rebuild or if you have the $$$ an MSD.
