And here is how it sits now:

He was in ICU with a broken pelvis, broken ribs, and a broken cheek bone, but he's going to be ok. They were pretty lucky considering. They were on slicks on the street with a LOT of power, he lost control, hit a parked car, flipped it, and totalled both cars. It happened in Nevada.Awwwww shit man. Sorry to hear it.
Was the driver ok ? What happened and where was it crashed ?

No, they just took it out on the street in front of his house playing around. I don't even think he got pics of it post wreck/ pre stripped.any vid? damn that sucks...

opinions are like noses, everybody has one, yours just happens to stink.that car was one ugly bitch, but I bet she was fast.
Only the harnessesholy shit thats crazy, im sure he wasnt in any kind of safety equipment either, he got lucky...
I wouldn't have been making passes on the street, but that's just me. Nothing failed on the car, it was all driver error. I do agree though, things do happen for a reason. Maybe I was just meant to play with the BBC coupe for a while.Wow, that sucks !!!
That's my worst fear, at least you didn't crash it and loose all that money.
And remember, everything happens for a reason :umbrella:
There were 3 witnesses, and they said it was the most violent thing they had ever seen, but was over in an instant. The car was on "low" boost at 15#'s, and a very conservative E85 tune, but I'm sure it was easily capable of 800+ to the wheels on that boost level at around 2900 lbs.Man that look like it was a violent impact. I am glad the guy was OK. That car was way too fast to play with on the street, You have to respect a beast like that or bad shit happens.
I built it to be a "street car" as in running true street classes and capable of running on 93 octane and drive down the road and back, but your right, it was way past the point of "take it cruisin" type of street car.there becomes a point when a "street car" is no longer a "street car"... what did he smack his face on i wonder? probably not common sense
It was actually air/air when it left Texas, the air/water came later. When it flipped the motor ran with no oil for a bit...there may be some issues there. The tranny case split and shoved up into the floor through the FAST. The rearend is jacked, driveshaft bent, turbo piping bent, etc. etc. The IC and tank and some of the fuel system survived.i got the hint with the intercooler in the passenger floor board.. none of my bitches would ever go for that, LOL.. nice car though,, hopefully the drivetrain will see its way into something else
