This better not be a trend setter.

X-rays show no break for Cowboys’ WR Williams

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)—Cowboys receiver Roy Williams did not break his shoulder during a collision with a teammate. He’s getting more tests and likely will not play the rest of the preseason.

Williams banged into cornerback Orlando Scandrick(notes) while going for a pass near the goal line Thursday night in a practice at the team’s new stadium. Players were wearing helmets but not pads, and Williams was slow to get up. He left the field angry because he had recent collisions with Scandrick that resulted in a sprained wrist and his helmet flying off.

Still waiting on MRI results. It's probably nothing serious. I bet he plays in the 1st regular season game.

I expect the same, but it's funny how a low round, possible second string corner is knocking him around.
cowboys better go get marshall! LOL

scandrick is all over williams it sounds like
Scandrick plays like a first round pick. He just needs to stop hitting so fucking hard in practice. This isn't the first time he's done this.

Said it before, and I'll say it again. I really didn't think much of Scandrick last year. It was my impression that Jenkins had it, and Scandrick didn't. Boy has he proved me wrong so far. Scandrick is hungry, Jenkins isn't.

jenkins is also paid isnt he?
Their saying Jenkins is too mentally "soft". They will probably make him the starting cornerback to not hurt his feelings, and show they didn't waste a first round pick, but Scandrick is the guy in the drivers seat for that position. I agree, it looked that way last season.

Yeah when I saw him staying step-for-step with Heyward-Bey in the game against Oakland I was like WOW.

5 yr, $9.725MM. He was the first rounder.

Scandrick was taken in the FIFTH round, and has a 4 year deal for $1.85MM.

My oh my. This has the makings of a bust! Don't get me wrong, Jenkins is talented, but he needs to step it up. Blowing coverage and being afraid to hit in the NFL won't get you very far.

If they start Jenkins over Scandrick, it will be an epic fail. Scandrick has done everything right, to earn that starting spot.

sounds like jenkins should really be playing for the saints defense
Can anyone remember a GOOD play Jenkins has made so far? I can honestly say I don't even know the guys number, I don't remember seeing him very often. But scandrick stood out almost every time he was on the field.

He had an INT last season that netted him a 23 yard td.

EDIT: It was against the Giants.

Well, then I guess he earned his salary on that one play.

Nah, he had some breakups and had 19 tackles last season. Nothing to brag about, but 'ok'.

It sure seemed like he did more harm than good, though. That's for sure.
