Also congrats to Danny Caldwell, can't remember his screen name, for coming back after getting spun out and finishing 5th!!!

We took our street stock out there just to have a little fun. HA HA It blew up on the second lap of the heat!!!

That joint always has been a motor killer, uphill on one straight, downhill on the other.

Still always been a helluva track.

And good show guys...
That's my cousin! They had a great year. Danny is one heck of a race car driver as well. Congrats to both.

Yep, I like watching the ASCS sprinters run around there. I've only been on 2 1/2 mile tracks, TMS in '06 and Kilgore in 00 or 01, something like that. The high side is my side!
On board ex presidents car! 600rwhp and 2400 lbs race weight=one heck of a ride.

Danny Caldwell, from princeton?
Yes
Holy hell, I've known that guy since he was in middle school. LOL
I didn't know he followed his father's footsteps and was racing. Good for him
Did not expect to ever see a dirt track related thread here...

Thanks for the support though!

Been going to Devil's Bowl, and most other local tracks, since I was in elementary school!!! ;)
Who's going to the outlaw race in October? I am, loved it earlier in the year, and I'll be going back later on.

I'll be there! I went to the Armadillo Nationals for about 5 years in a row out there at Lone Star. It was a big Late Model race they had every year in August back then. I am a big late model fan! :D

I love that track and am very happy someone bought it, and brought the WoO back to the northern part of Texas. The couple that bought it, their son races in the WoO, although I cannot remember the name off the top of my head.

I used to go to both WoO races at Devil's Bowl back in the day. Heck I still have a shirt that Sammy Swindell autographed for me when I was about 12, never did wear it either!
They are having an ASCS Gulf South Region vs. Lone Star Region race this Saturday out at the Bowl... They're paying the mods $1000 to win as well.

Should be a good show if you're a sprint car fan.... Y'all should come check it out! :147:
I'll have to come out for the show this Saturday. It's been awhile since my last dirt track fix. I really miss the dirt track racing up north. I grew up at the dirt tracks in Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa. My dad drove a street stock, my uncle a late model, my other uncle a midget, their best friend a late model, and many other friends in numerous classes. I remember as a kid getting to ride in the bed of the pickup before the races to help pack the track. Sure miss going to Knoxville and the original dirt I-70 speedway in Odessa, Mo for the World of Outlaws. I-70 was one fast high banked (30 degree banking) oval. Most of the tracks I remember going to are long gone now.
