There is a charcoal box that connects with two tubes one to the gas tank and the other to the bottom of the intake can you bypass that. it has a sensor on the intake side with bypassing the box effect the car ?

No, but it will throw a hidden code. No check engine light though. Trash it.

I took mine off my car and haven't had a problem.

moved mine to the back of the car... the weight's in the right place and no gas fume smell

Mine really hasn't had many bad gas fumes that I can notice without it on there.
